More than just "Twila"

To say that I am just "Twila" would belittle all that I have accomplished over the years. I am more that just a Christian; a wife; a mom; and a small business owner. I see myself as a lifetime learner; an avid reader; a writer; an appreciator of music; an animal lover; and so much more. Family is the heart of who I am and the "why" for all that I do.

I graduated high school in 1988 and began college to pursue a career in Criminal Justice. While attending college at East Central University, I met my husband Lance. After graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice/Juvenile Justice, we started our journey together in Oklahoma, traveled to New Mexico and Illinois for work, returned to Oklahoma, before settling in Northwest Arkansas. During that time, we had two beautiful, healthy, and intelligent children, CJ and Nicky. It was my husband that convinced me to leave law enforcement and to begin a career in teaching.

I started this new career by opening an in-home daycare and sought a new degree in Early Childhood Development. Since my first professional development class in 1999, I have been able to obtain an AA in Early Childhood Development, a Masters in Educational Leadership, a Director's Credential from the McCormick Institute, and an Arkansas Teaching License P-4, with an ESOL endorsement P-12.

I have 24 years of early childhood education experience with 13 years administration experience. My goal for Landram Early Childhood Education Consulting, LLC is help childcare facilities, teachers, and parents create a personalized roadmap of success for the children in their care.
